Heidi Sinclair - Director of Communications & Operations 

Heidi joined the PCREN team in February 2020, bringing with her 10 years of experience in Communications, Community Outreach, Project Management and Team Management from not-for-profits and educational-based organizations. She has supported Communications at the YMCA of Pictou County, National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health (NCCDH), and the Coady International Institute. This work has included content writing, website development, document publication, webinar and conference support, project management, event planning, philanthropy, marketing, grant writing and public relations. At the YMCA, Heidi completed several leadership programs and served as acting Executive Director.





Becky WebBecky Cowen - Project Coordinator

Becky joined the PCREN team in November 2019. With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology, and a diverse background including three years as a Fundraising Manager Assistant for a national conservation non-profit, and a further three years as a Buyer and 5S Lean project lead, initiating inventory control improvements, she brings her passion for organizing into her project coordinator role. Becky has been enjoying being a part of this exciting start-up phase of the REN and looks forward to supporting the Pictou County Business Community with immigration support. Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, Becky has been on the move living in the U.K and throughout Atlantic Canada. Having now settled in Pictou County with her family, she now considers this home and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.





kaileeBrennan 250x375Kailee Brennan - Director of Rural Settlement  (Currently on leave.)

Kailee is the Director of Rural Settlement at the Pictou County Regional Enterprise Network. Kailee joined the PCREN in April 2020 after spending the last several years working in refugee resettlement initiatives across the county, including in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Nova Scotia. Kailee holds a Master’s Degree in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration from the University of London, UK and is responsible for overseeing the immigration-related initiatives at the PCREN, including federally-funded resource development with a focus on economic innovation and workforce development in rural and small-centre locations.
